Children’s White Sunday is a significant celebration for all Anglican churches in Tonga. It takes place every year, typically on the last Sunday of July, a day known locally as Sapate FakaSiulai.
On this special day, the morning Eucharist service is led by the children, who take on the roles of the service leaders. Dressed in their white Sunday best, along with ta‘ovala and flower garlands, they proudly embody vessels of God’s message. In the afternoon, each class showcases different messages through skits, Bible story dramas, songs, and other creative performances. We take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the teachers and students for their hard work and dedication. All glory be to God.
