Fire Safety with the Fiji National Fire Authority

October 2025 | Moana Anglican Services & Teaching Centre

The Diocesan Headquarters recently hosted a comprehensive fire-safety workshop facilitated by the National Fire Authority of Fiji, aimed at strengthening preparedness and safeguarding all clergy, staff, and
visitors. The session focused on updating fire-safety drills and reinforcing best-practice procedures, ensuring that our infrastructure and facilities remain compliant with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.

Participants received practical guidance on identifying risks, responding effectively during fire emergencies, and executing safe and orderly evacuations. Through hands-on demonstrations and scenario-based exercises, the NFA team equipped attendees with the confidence and skills needed to guide others to safety in the event of a real emergency. This workshop underscores our ongoing commitment to creating a secure environment and maintaining the highest standards of safety across the Diocese.
